3/4 c. butter 1 c. water 1/4 c. baking cocoa 2 c. all-purpose flour 1 c. sugar 1 t. baking soda 1/8 t. salt 1/2 c. low-fat buttermilk 2 eggs, beaten Optional: chocolate frosting
Place butter, water and cocoa in a saucepan. Heat until butter melts; let cool. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda and salt; mix well. Add butter mixture, buttermilk and eggs to flour mixture; stir well. Spread in a greased 15"x10" jelly-roll pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Drizzle with chocolate frosting if desired. Makes 24 servings.
