Best Cookbook Ever

I love this cookbook. My husband is a picky eater and he has eaten every recipe I have cooked from this book. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

You'll definitely get some serious bang for your buck!

This book is not like the other GBP cookbooks I have. While those are chock full of hand-drawn illustrations and appear to be handwritten, this one is glossy and printed and beautiful. (Oh, those illustrations and tips that we GBP fans adore are still there too - no worries!) It's a full-size book, too, and loaded with over 450 recipes. Y'all should see the list of recipes I want to try from this book - it's 3 pages long! A few must-trys: Chicken Enchilada dip, Sugar Plum Bacon, Sweet & Spicy Country Ham, Black Bean and Vegetable Chili, Grandmas' Old Fashioned Doughnuts... You'll definitely get some serious bang for your buck with this cookbook - it really is big! Read more here: http://www.girlwithblog.com/2011/09/gooseberry-patchs-big-book-of.html

Big Book of Home Cooking

I tried Hashbrown-Pork Chop Casserole from Gooseberry Patch's latest cookbook. We thoroughly enjoyed this meal. Even my husband, our family's picky eater, really enjoyed it. This is definitely a great meal for all the meat and potato lovers in your life. Read more here: http://www.thecountrycook.net/2011/08/hashbrown-pork-chop-casserole.html

It would make the best Christmas gift

I tell you what! It was so difficult to choose just a few recipes from this cookbook! You should see my list of recipes that I want to try! Phew! My kiddos and I are going to be busy little bees in the kitchen this month! There are sections devoted to breakfast, casseroles, slow cookers, sandwiches, cakes and cookies, breads and more! It would make the best Christmas gift for friends, family, newlyweds, co-workers! Read more here: http://www.oldhousekitchen.com/2011/09/gooseberry-patch-review-and-giveaway.html

This is a gorgeous cookbook

This is a gorgeous 367 page cookbook filled with all kinds of yummy recipes. I spent well over an hour perusing this gigantic encyclopedia of home-style favorites. We found some of our favorite Gooseberry Patch recipes right next to tons of recipes we are eager to try. The family favorite was the Chicken and Dressing Casserole. It was so easy to make and oh-so delicious! From the get go, this recipe had the kitchen smellin’ like heaven and the final dish did not disappoint.
